The short version

Metricool combines planning, analytics, ads reporting, an inbox and competitor tracking. Inktaro does one job: publishing vertical videos to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels. If analytics and reporting are your priority, Metricool covers much more.

How pricing works

• Metricool prices by brand. Each brand can connect one profile per social network. Starter starts at $20 a month billed yearly for up to 5 brands, and $36 for up to 10. Advanced starts at $53 a month and adds team members and the API. Prices exclude VAT.
• Metricool's Free plan includes 1 brand and 20 published posts a month, without LinkedIn or X. According to Metricool's help center, a duplicated post counts once for each network it is published on.
• Inktaro prices by plan: Creator is $9 a month with 6 connected accounts, Pro is $19 a month with 15 (launch prices), both with unlimited videos within each platform's own posting limits. You can connect several accounts of the same platform in one workspace.

• Detailed analytics, reports, competitor analysis and Facebook, Google and TikTok ads data.
• An inbox, link in bio, and more networks, including LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky and Twitch.
• An API and an MCP server.

What Inktaro focuses on

• Vertical video only: each file is checked against each platform's limits before you schedule, and Inktaro never crops or trims it on its own.
• A status per platform, and a retry for the platform that failed only.

Where Inktaro stands today

Inktaro is in early access. Its TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook integrations are being built, then each platform has to approve them. Until then, some options stay limited. The platforms page shows the current status of each one.
