02 — What Inktaro handles

The settings TikTok asks for, nothing more.

Upload your vertical video once and schedule it for TikTok alongside your other platforms. Before posting, Inktaro shows your TikTok username, lets you pick who can see the video, and lets you choose whether others can comment, Duet or Stitch.

Inktaro uses TikTok's official Content Posting API. You connect with TikTok's own login, and you can disconnect at any time.

03 — Limits

The rules, checked and dated.

What the platform accepts, taken from its official documentation. Inktaro checks your video against these rules before you schedule, and never cuts anything for you.

  • File: MP4 (preferred), WebM or MOV; H.264 (preferred), H.265, VP8 or VP9.
  • Frame rate: 23 to 60 fps.
  • Resolution: 360 to 4096 pixels per side; 1080 × 1920 (9:16) fills the screen.
  • Length: up to 3 minutes for every creator, up to 5 or 10 minutes for some accounts. Inktaro reads the limit of each account from TikTok.
  • File size: up to 4 GB.
  • Caption: up to 2,200 characters.
  • Posts per day: TikTok limits how many posts a creator account can publish per day, across all apps.

Why would my video be set to “Only me”?

Until TikTok approves Inktaro, every post made through the API is private. Once approved, you’ll be able to pick the other options.

What’s the maximum length?

Your TikTok account’s. Inktaro reads it before you schedule and warns you if your video is too long.

Does Inktaro add a watermark or text?

No. Your video and your text go out as they are.

What about music?

By posting, you agree to TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation, just like in the app.
