02 — What Inktaro handles
A Short, set up the YouTube way.
Upload your vertical video once and schedule it as a YouTube Short. You write a YouTube title and description separately from your other platforms, choose public, private or unlisted, and see which channel it will be posted to.
Inktaro uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube account, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. You can revoke access at any time from your Google account permissions.

- 03Short format. Checked before you schedule: 3 min max, square or vertical.

03 — Limits

What the platform accepts, taken from its official documentation. Inktaro checks your video against these rules before you schedule, and never cuts anything for you.
Checked on October 12, 2026- What counts as a Short: a square or vertical video of up to 3 minutes. Wider videos and longer ones become regular videos.
- Title: required, up to 100 characters. The description is a separate field.
- Music: a Short over 1 minute with an active Content ID claim is blocked worldwide until the claim is resolved.
- Visibility: public, private or unlisted, chosen for each post.
When you publish, you confirm your content follows the YouTube Community Guidelines.

Will my video be a Short?
If it’s 3 min or less and square or vertical, YouTube files it as a Short.
Why would my video be private?
Until Google audits Inktaro, YouTube sets videos uploaded by the app to private. After the audit, your visibility applies.
What about copyrighted music?
A Short over one minute with an active copyright claim is blocked by YouTube. Under one minute, this block doesn’t apply.
Does Inktaro change my title?
No. We never add a word to your text.
