Inktaro vs Planable

Planable is built around planning and approvals, priced per workspace. Inktaro only publishes vertical videos, with unlimited videos on paid plans.

The short version

Planable is built around content planning, reviews and approvals, with workspaces for each brand or client. Inktaro does one job: publishing vertical videos to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels, with settings and a status for each platform.

How pricing works

  • Planable prices per workspace: Basic is $39 per workspace per month ($390 a year) and Pro is $59 per workspace per month ($590 a year). Enterprise is custom.
  • Paid plans have a monthly post limit per workspace: 60 posts on Basic and 150 on Pro, reset on the 1st of each month.
  • Planable's Free plan covers your first 50 posts in total. The limit doesn't reset. According to Planable's help center, a post duplicated to other networks counts once for each network.
  • Inktaro prices per plan: Free includes 3 accounts and 10 videos a month, Creator is $9 a month with 6 accounts, Pro is $19 a month with 15 accounts (launch prices). Paid plans have unlimited videos, within each platform's own posting limits.

Where Planable goes further

  • Review and approval workflows, including multi-level approvals.
  • Unlimited users on its plans.
  • More networks, and analytics and social inbox add-ons.

What Inktaro focuses on

  • Vertical video only: each file is checked against each platform's limits before you schedule, and Inktaro never crops or trims it on its own.
  • Platform-specific settings: captions, YouTube title and description, visibility and disclosures.
  • A status per platform, and a retry for the platform that failed only.

Where Inktaro stands today

Inktaro is in early access. Its TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook integrations are being built, then each platform has to approve them. Until then, some options stay limited. The platforms page shows the current status of each one.
