ShortSync is the tool closest to Inktaro: both are built around short-form video and publish one upload to several platforms. ShortSync covers more networks and post formats, with an API and an MCP server on every plan. Inktaro covers TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels, plus Snapchat as an assisted destination, and focuses on checking each video before it goes out and on a clear status for each platform.
How pricing works
- ShortSync has a Free plan with 5 uploads a month. An upload counts once, whatever the number of platforms it is published to. The Creator plan starts at €14.99 a month for unlimited uploads, and a Team plan adds workspaces for teams. ShortSync lists its prices in euros.
- Inktaro Free includes 3 accounts and 10 videos a month, and one video published to several platforms also counts once. Creator is $9 a month with 6 accounts, Pro is $19 a month with 15 (launch prices). Paid plans have unlimited videos, within each platform's own posting limits.

- More platforms: according to its website, LinkedIn, Threads, X, Bluesky, Pinterest, Telegram, Mastodon and Reddit, in addition to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels and Snapchat (Story and Spotlight).
- Image, carousel and text posts, first comments, custom thumbnails, bulk uploading, an inbox and analytics.
- A public API and an MCP server, including on the Free plan.
- Workspaces and team collaboration.
What Inktaro focuses on
- Vertical video only: each file is checked against each platform's limits before you schedule, and Inktaro never crops or trims it.
- A status per platform, and a retry for the platform that failed only. If Inktaro can't tell whether a video went out, it asks you instead of risking a double post.
- Statistics shown platform by platform, never added up.
- An interface in English and French.
Where Inktaro stands today
Inktaro is in early access. Its TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook integrations are being built, then each platform has to approve them. Until then, some options stay limited. Snapchat is assisted: you finish publishing in the Snapchat app. The platforms page shows the current status of each one.
