Inktaro vs Sprout Social

Sprout Social is a full social media suite priced per seat. Inktaro only publishes vertical videos, with unlimited videos on paid plans.

The short version

Sprout Social is built for social teams that need publishing, an inbox, reporting, monitoring and collaboration in one suite. Inktaro does one job: publishing vertical videos to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels.

How pricing works

  • Sprout Social prices per seat. Essentials is $79 per seat per month billed yearly ($99 billed monthly), with 5 social profiles. Standard is $199, Professional $299 and Advanced $399 per seat per month, billed yearly. There is a 30-day free trial.
  • Inktaro prices per plan: Free includes 3 accounts and 10 videos a month, Creator is $9 a month with 6 accounts, Pro is $19 a month with 15 accounts (launch prices). Paid plans have unlimited videos, within each platform's own posting limits.

Where Sprout Social goes further

  • Inbox, customer care and collaboration workflows on higher plans.
  • Reporting, monitoring and team features.
  • Broader social media management, beyond vertical video.

What Inktaro focuses on

  • Vertical video only: each file is checked against each platform's limits before you schedule, and Inktaro never crops or trims it on its own.
  • A status per platform, and a retry for the platform that failed only.

Where Inktaro stands today

Inktaro is in early access. Its TikTok, YouTube, Instagram and Facebook integrations are being built, then each platform has to approve them. Until then, some options stay limited. The platforms page shows the current status of each one.
