Choose the right channel
When you authorize Google/YouTube, make sure the channel connected to Inktaro is the channel you intend to publish to. If you manage several channels, confirm the target shown before posting.
Prepare the YouTube-specific metadata
YouTube is not just another caption field. Inktaro gives it its own title and description. A title is required and Inktaro follows YouTube's 100-character title limit.
Current status
Inktaro's YouTube integration is being built. Once it's ready, it goes through Google's verification and YouTube's API audit. YouTube documents that uploads made through videos.insert by unverified API projects created after 28 July 2020 are restricted to private viewing until the project passes an audit. YouTube shows as Approval pending until then.
Before publishing
- Confirm the target channel.
- Write the YouTube title and description.
- Choose the visibility for the upload: public, private or unlisted.
- Confirm that the content follows YouTube's Community Guidelines and add any relevant disclosures.
